Mymensingh – Students of B.Sc. Food Engg made a human chain in front of ‘Mukhtomanch” of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh on Tuesday.In human Chain they demanded immediate employment Food engineers/ Food technology graduates as a Safe Food Instructor under Bangladesh Food Safety authority, not necessary for starting Food safety and Risk Management degree, include B.Sc.
Food Engg degree to Bangladesh Public Civil Service (BPCS), immediately update B.Sc. Food Engg course curriculum.
About 300 students of the B.Sc. Food Engg of the university gathered in front of the Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin auditorium at 2:00 pm to form the human chain.
In human chain speakers said, food engineers invented different technology to develop our food sector. But unexperienced people work there as an extension worker as a results the farmers were deprived from uses of the proper technology. – BAU correspondent
