Barishal Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized special Business Development Conference virtually on 9 June 2020, Tuesday. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank addressed the conference as chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors of the Bank addressed the conference as special guests. Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, AAM Habibur Rahman and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, Mohammed Shabbir, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah and G.M. Mohd. Gias Uddin Quader, Senior Executive Vice Presidents also addressed the conference. Md. Aminur Rahman, Head of Barishal Zone addressed welcome speech. Head of Branches under the zone attended the conference.
Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam in his speech as the chief guest said that Islami Bank is providing timely financial services to the people keeping in view the national needs and in the light of the directions of Hon’ble Prime Minister. He appreciated the timely direction of the Central Bank and thanked the Governor for providing appropriate guidance. He said that the staff of Islami Bank is working with the priority of welfare and livelihood of the people.
He said, Islami Bank has been playing its due role as the largest bank in the country. Due to the sincere service of Islami Bank, this bank has been able to gain the trust of the people. The bank has also been able to gain recognition in the international arena for its contribution.
He said, the bank’s alternative banking services need to reach more people. Expressing satisfaction over the growth in deposits and remittances collection of the bank at this particular moment, he said, today’s achievement has been possible due to having trust and confidence of the people toward Islami Bank and sincere service of the employees of the bank.
