IBBL Chattogram North Zone holds special Business Development Conference

Chattogram North Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized special Business Development Conference virtually on 11 June 2020, Thursday. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank addressed the conference as chief guest. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors of the Bank addressed the conference as special guests. Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Md. Saleh Iqbal, A A M Habibur Rahman, Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, Mohammed Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Abul Faiz Muhammad Kamaluddin, Mohammed Shabbir, Md. Mahboob Alam & G M Mohd. Gias Uddin Quader, Senior Executive Vice Presidents also addressed the conference. Presided over by Md. Nayer Azam, Head of Chattogram North Zone, the conference was attended by Head of Branches under the zone. The conference expressed satisfaction over the overall activities & advancement of the zone and provided instructions for continuing the growth of success.

 

Md. Mahbub ul Alam said, Hon’ble Prime Minister, from the very beginning of the crisis, has been delivering directions to the nation for minimizing the loss during this pandemic. Considering the life & livelihood of the common people, all economic activities have been reinstated with proper maintenance of health rules & social distancing. He thanked Hon’ble Governor of Bangladesh Bank and its all officials for providing well-timed directives to the Banking sector for maintaining money-flow and mitigating financial crisis of the people.

 

He said, doctors & health officials, law enforcing agencies, administrative officials, journalists and the bankers all are performing as frontline fighters during this pandemic situation. He expressed respect to those who had already been affected and lost their lives during this pandemic. He also prayed for forgiveness of Sheikh Pir (Moulana) Mohammad Qutubuddin (Rah.), Chairman, Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank and Morshedul Alam, Director, S. Alam Group, country’s one of the leading industrial group at their sudden demise and expressed deep condolence to their family members.
