Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) distributed warm clothes among the cold-affected destitute in the city on Wednesday.
IBBL Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan distributed blankets at the bank’s head office.Executive Vice-president and Head of Development wing Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan and Head of Corporate Responsibility Affairs Division AHM Latif Uddin Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
The IBBL has decided to distribute 2.25 lakh warm clothes among the cold-hit people across the country this year through its head office, zonal offices and branches.
Every year, the bank donates warm clothes among the cold-affected people under its CSR activities, said a press release.
