Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited donated Tk. 2 crore for winter clothes to the Prime Minister’s relief fund. The cheque was handed over to Sheikh Hasina, honorable Prime Minister by Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Chairman of the Bank on December 9, 2015 at Ganabhaban. Nazrul Islam Majumdar, Chairman, Bangladesh Association of Banks and Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Bank were present on the occasion.
Islami Bank has allocated 2 lac and 40 thousand warm clothes at a cost of Tk. 70.5 million for destitute people in the current year which is being distributed through its head office and branches.
