Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) has provided 9000 blankets to Bangladesh Bank for distributing those among the cold-hit people across the country. AKM Abdul Malek Chowdhury, IBBL deputy managing director, handed over the blankets to AFM Asaduzzaman, general manager of BB Governor’s secretariat, on Saturday. AHM Latif Uddin Chowdhury, senior vice president of the Bank, was also present on the occasion. Islami Bank has taken an initiative to distribute 2,10,000 pieces of winter clothes among the cold hit people this year. All IBBL branches have been distributing warm clothes throughout the country in their respective areas. – UNB
