Bangladesh Association of Banks congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on receiving United Nations’ highest environmental accolade ‘The Champions of the Earth’ and ‘ICT Sustainable Development Award’ on Monday, October 12, 2015. Engineer Mustafa Anwar, Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited handed over a cheque worth Tk 2 crore to the Prime Minister for her relief and welfare fund at Ganobhaban at that time.
