Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has received the best ‘Small Entrepreneur Friendly Bank of the Year’ award.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed over the crest of the award to Managing Director of the bank Mohammad Abdul Mannan at a function at a city hotel on Wednesday. Bangladesh Bank and SME Foundation jointly conferred this prestigious award on Islami Bank considering its contribution to SME financing, said a press release.
BB Governor Dr Atiur Rahman, Industries Secretary Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, FBCCI President Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, SME Foundation Chairman KM Habib Ullah and SME Foundation Managing Director Dr Syed Ihsanul Karim were, among others, present on the occasion. – UNB
