Dhaka, Sept 30 – A school banking conference was held at Shariatpur Poura Auditorium under auspices of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) as the lead bank on 29 September 2018 Saturday as part of Bangladesh Bank’s financial inclusion programme.A procession led by Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Deputy Managing Director of IBBL paraded the town. Kazi Abu Taher, Deputy Commissioner of Shariatpur inaugurated the conference as chief guest. Md. Rafiqul Islam Kotwal, Shariatpur Poura Mayor, Jahangir Hossain, Deputy General Manager, Bangladesh Bank Barisal Office, Md. Rezaul Karim, Principal of Shariatpur Government Women College and AHM Rafiqul Islam, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank addressed the conference as special guests.
Md. Abdus Salam, Head of Barishal Zone of IBBL addressed welcome speech. Shankar Kumar Paul, regional head of National Bank, MM Salim Ahmed, Head of the zone of Agrani Bank, Tofazzal Hossain, Senior Assistant Vice President and Head of Shariatpur Branch of IBBL, managers and representatives of all scheduled banks in Shariatpur were present on the occasion.
