Md. Shah Alam, Senior Vice President and incumbent, Narayanganj Branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited died of a fatal road accident at Panchchar of Shibchar of Dhaka-Barisal Highway at around 3.00 pm on Saturday, July 13. He was 49. His first namaj-e-janaja was held at IBBL Head office premises, Dhaka. He was buried for eternal rest at his family grave yeard at Kolaya Village under Bamna Upazila in Barguna followed by 2nd namaj-e-janaja there.
He behind left wife, two daughters, relatives and a host of well wishers.
Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Vice Chairman and Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank expressed deep sorrow at the sad demise of Md. Shah Alam and prayed forgiveness for his departed soul. They also expressed sympathies for the bereaved family members.
