Indian ship with relief materials heading towards Ctg

Dhaka – Indian Navy ship, INS Sumitra, an offshore patrol vessel, is carrying disaster relief materials and now 90nm south off Chittagong. UNB news reported
The ship is now involved in picking up survivors at sea (in water).
The survivors could be in from of a sunken boats or huts washed away into the sea during the cyclone.
Ten people have already been rescued and the operation is in progress, according to Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
Once the search and rescue operations are completed or are taken over by Bangladesh Navy, INS Sumitra will sail to Chittagong to disembark the relief stores.
The search and relief operations are being coordinated with the Bangladesh Navy.
