Rajshahi. Dec 3 – To extend support and provide adequate facilities to people with disabilities, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and National Disabled Day 2018 was observed with the slogans “empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equalities” at Rajshahi University (RU) on Monday. Physically Challenged Development Foundation (PDF) of RU unit organized a rally at noon. The rally was started from in front of the University Senate Building and parading different roads of the campus ended in front of Central Library on the campus. Student advisor Prof Dr Laila Arjuman Banu, Institute of environmental Science Prof Dr Md Redwanur Rahman and chairman of electric and electronics engineering dept of BAUT Prof Rashedul Hasan Rana addressed the program. – RU Corespondent
