The news of marriage between actors Iresh Zaker and Mim Rashid was floating around the entertainment arena of the country for quite a few days. Even the photo of the two exchanging rings on Instagram was buzzing around the social media. Both families did not make any comments on this news up until now.Iresh’s mother, famous actor and media personality, Sara Zaker recently confirmed the decision. She told the press that Mim Rashid, whi is also the sister of popular TV actor Mithila, is indeed Iresh’s fiancé. She also added that Mim herself works in the media industry but mostly behind the camera.Sara also informed that both families organised a ‘Gaaye Holud’ and ‘Mehedi’ function at Iresh’s home on Friday. The marriage ceremony will be hosted at a convention center in Dhaka and the reception will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal on March. The families reportedly got together to settle the union on January 27.
Iresh is a television and film actor. He also received the National Award for best actor in a negative role back in 2015 for his role in Shihab Shahin’s film “Chuye Dile Mon.”
Though it is the first marriage for Iresh but it’s the second time for Mim. She was previously married to famous director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury.
