The Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has been awarded as the Best Remittance Collecting Bank for the year-2017. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank received the award from Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, MP from a program at Bangladesh Bank Training Academy on 20 September 2018 Thursday. The program was addressed by Fazle Kabir, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Kamrun Nahar Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Institutions, Ministry of Finance and Dr Ahmed Munirus Saleheen, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment as special guests.
