Dhaka – Bangladesh U16 girls’ football team will start their campaign in the J-Green Sakai Lady’s Festival Under-15 meet playing three matches in Osaka, Japan on Saturday.In their Group-D 1st match on Saturday, Bangladesh will face AC Imabari, Cerezo and NGU Nagoya FC Ladies in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd matches respectively on the day.In their last group match, Bangladesh will play against Amagasaki Ladies on Sunday. A total of 20 teams, split into four groups, will play 40-minute format group matches before playing against the opponents of the three other groups on the basis of group standing.Bangladesh’ girls reached Osaka on Wednesday night and played a friendly match against a local team Academy Sakai to secure 2-1 victory at Osaka Academy Sakai on Thursday.UNB
