Kingsley forces MSC to share points with Brothers

Dhaka  – Nkowcha Kingsley’s two goals helped Brothers Union play a 2-2 draw against Mohammedan Sporting Club in the 6th
round of the 12-team JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football at Bangabandhu Natioanal Stadium on Saturday.Mohammedan skipper Tawhidul Alam Shabuz scored the quickest goal in this edition BPL putting his side ahead in the 16th second, 1-0,UNB News Agency Reported.
Cameroonian midfielder Nzekou Patrice cut a square pass from the box to Shabuz who completed the quickest job by a right footed placing shot.Midfielder Masud Rana doubled the margin in the 17th minute taking an angular shot that hit far post net, 2-0.
Brothers defenders failed to clear a Tawhidul Alam Shabuz cross that fell in front of unmarked Masud Rana who netted the ball.
Nigerian forward Nkowcha Kingsley reduced the margin for Brothers Union in the in the 22nd minute connecting a curved corner kick pass of Kawser Ali Rabby by a header from middle of the box, 2-1.Nkowcha Kingsley leveled the margin in the 62nd minute with his 2nd one in the match drilling a lower shot into the net from a goal mouth melee, 2-2.Brothers came to close to level the score in the 37th minute, but midfielder Nazmul Islam Rasel’s shot from the top of the box was punched over the crosspiece by Mohammedan goalie Nehal for a corner.In the 67th minute Mohammedan midfielder Nzekou Patrice missed a good opportunity as his right footer shot bounced back hitting side post.Finishing the 6th round, both Mohammedan SC and Brothers Union collected five points each, but Mohammedan secured the 8th slot by virtue of more goal difference, followed by Brothers Union.
