A female deputy assistant community medical officer of Sharsha Health Complex tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday.
Jashore Civil Surgeon Dr Abu Shaheen said the victim who was working at Laxmanpur Sub-health Centre has been suffering from fever for the last few days.
Her sample was tested at the lab of Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST) where she was found positive for the virus.
