Dhaka- Brigadier General Joglul Ahmed clinched the 4th President’s Cup Golf Tournament held at the Chengi Golf and Country Club in Khagrachhari Cantonment on Friday.Golfer Habib Mohiuddin of Chattogram Bhatiary Golf and Country Club finished first runner-up while golfer Col M Mahbubur Rahman Siddiqui of Chengi Golf and Country Club became 2nd runner-up.
Mrs Nahid Islam of Chattogram Bhatiary Golf and Country Club emerged champions in the women’s group.
Chattogram Area Commander and GOC of the 24 infantry Division of Bangladesh Army Major General M Jahangir Kabir Talukder was the chief guest at the closing function at Khagrachhari Cantonment Public School and College auditorium and later he distributed the prizes.
A total 46 golfers from Chengi Golf and Country Club, Chattogram Bhatiary Golf and Country Club and Shaheen Golf and Country Club took part in the tournament.UNB
