Kangana to direct her own biopic

Kangana Ranaut impressed the audience as well as the critics with her act in her latest release Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actress not just mesmerized the audience with her acting skills but she also proved that she can direct well. Manikarnika was her first project as a director and she received a lot praise for it. Now it has been confirmed that Kangana is set to direct yet another film. It will be based on her own life. Talking about the project, she said, “Yes, it is true. My own story is the subject of my next directorial. But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I am emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me but accepted me for who I am.”
Sources claim that the film will be written by the writer of Manikarnika, KV Vijayendra. Kangana added, “Around 12 weeks ago, he (KV Vijayendra) urged me to let him write a film based on my life. I was nervous and wary initially, but then, given his stature and the fact that I trust him implicitly, I gave Vijayendra sir the go-ahead to the project.”
We can’t wait to watch her create magic both on and off screen, reports ANI.
