Kim Kardashian is definitely royalty in Kanye West’s eyes and it seems like the KUWTK babe may be having a wedding dress made that is similar to Kate Middleton’s, with new reports claiming that Kim is styling herself around the Duchess when it comes down to her big day.
According to sources, Kim’s dress will be based on the Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown worn by the Duchess during the royal wedding back in 2011. An insider told Grazia magazine: ”Kim is absolutely obsessed with everything Kate and William do. She considers her own family ‘American Royalty’. Kim loves Kate’s style and while she is planning on several gowns for her big day, she wants the one for the ceremony to look something like Kate’s dress. The brief is demure princess and she’ll also wear a tiara.” And that’s not the only royal inspired moment at the wedding, the source continues, saying that the showbiz couple are planning to sit on “golden thrones” during their reception. They said: ”They think it’d be really cool to have gold thrones to sit on during the reception. They’ve already got a Buckingham Palace-themed room in their new home, which they’re using as inspiration.” Meanwhile, Kim recently hinted that she may be having a Christmas wedding. While she might have splashed millions on her nuptials to second husband Kris Humphries when they tied the knot in August 2011, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians babe insisted she wasn’t so sold on the traditional idea this time around and may just ditch everyone for an intimate ceremony with Kanye.
