Khulna University set to hold 6th convocation on Sunday

Khulna University has taken all necessary preparations to hold its 6th convocation on Sunday.
A 22-member sub-committee of teachers and staff was formed to hold the convocation smoothly and special security measures have been taken in and around the campus.
President Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of university, is scheduled to inaugurate the programme at 2:40 pm.
The President will also inaugurate a mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman titled ‘Kaljoyee Mujib’ near of the main gate of the campus, marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu .
This year, some 4478 students will attain their graduation certificates, 2530 post graduates; five Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) certificates, eight PhD and 17 post graduate Diploma in Education degree.
Besides, 23 students will be awarded gold medals, reports UNB from Khulna.
