Dhaka – Bangladeshi Weightlifter Fullpoti Chakma clinched the first silver medal weightlifting competition of 13th South Asian Games on the opening day of the competition in Nepalese tourist town of Pokhara on Thursday.
Fullpoti Chakma clinched the silver made in the women’s -55 kgs category.Three other Bangladeshi weightlifters – Shabira Molla, Fayema Akhter and Mostain Bella – clinched bronze medals in their respective events.
Shabira Molla clinched the bronze in women’s senior -49 kgs, Fayema Akther clinched a bronze in the women’s – 59 kgs while Mostain Bella bagged the bronze in the men’s senior -61 Kgs.UNB
