Dhaka, June 20 (UNB) – Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal No 3.
A low has been formed over the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of the country, said a Met office bulletin on Thursday.
Under its influence deep convection is taking place over the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas.
Squally weather is likely to affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.
It advised all the fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay to proceed with caution until further notice.
