Dhaka, Nov 4 – A young man was stabbed to death by his sibling in city’s Demra area on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Hossain Box, 19, son of Ali Box of the area.
Alim, a friend of the deceased, said Hossain was stabbed in the chest by his elder brother Hasan near their house in Purbo Boxnagar of the area following an altercation over a trifling matter.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead around 7:30 pm. Inspector Baccu Mia of DMCH police outpost said the body bore injury marks in the chest. The body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy, he added. – UNB
