Dhaka – Touring Maziya Sports and Recreation Club of the Maldives made their practices at Dhaka Abahani ground on Monday ahead of their AFC Cup away match against Dhaka Abahani Ltd on Wednesday (February 5) at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
Marziya SRC made practices at Abahani ground less than one hour Monday afternoon. After the day’s practice session Marziya coach Marjan Sekulovski said, “Dhaka Abahani is very good team although we want to return home (Maldives) with full points.
The Maziya coach watched few Federation Cup matches of Dhaka Abahani and his evaluation is, “Abahani is always better team at home. We’re also ready to face them.”
Dhaka Abahani made their practices at the same venue after the training session of Marziya.
Portugese coach of Dhaka Abahani Mario Lamos said, “We know they (Marziya) have good Afgan’s goalkeeper, Serbian’s defender and very fast Brazilian attacking midfielder, but we are not worried about it. Our players are ready to face them.”
He emphasized on his forward line up and said, “Our forwards Zibon, Sunday and Belfort will certainly get some chances. If they utilize it, then we’ll win the match easily.
”Defender Tutul Hossain Badhsa also joined the day’s training session with the team after recovering from the Injury.UNB
