Media workers urged to work for liberation of Al-Quds Mosque

The Al-Quds Committee, Bangladesh on Wednesday urged the media workers to work in favour of the suffering people of Palestine on the Al-Quds Day which will be observed on 01 July, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan to carry forward the pressure to free the Baitul Muqaddas Mosque from Israeli occupation.Addressing a press conference at the National Press Club leaders of the committee said that the first quibla of Muslims, Baitul Muqaddas Mosque, has remained under occupation for decades and Muslims cannot say trouble-free prayers at the holy place. The Al-Quds Day is observed every year for liberation of the holy mosque.
To mark the day a discussion meeting on ‘Zionist conspiracy and disunity among Muslims are hindrances to freeing Al-Quds from occupation’ will be held at the BMA auditorium at 10 am on Friday. Former Law Minister Barrister Shafique Ahmed will be the chief guest on the occasion, they said.
Mostafa Tarequl Hasan, general secretary of the committee, read out a statement at the press conference which was also addressed by Al-Quds Committee Bangladesh president Dr. Shah Kawsar Mustafa Abululayi among others. – News Desk
