Dinajpur, Aug 29 (UNB) – A three-day long Model United Nations (MUN) conference was inaugurated at the Hajee Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Dr Md Abul Kashem inaugurated the conference at university’s auditorium-2 as the chief guest.
Treasurer of HSTU Dr Bidhan Chandra Haldar, Registrar Professor Dr Md Fazlul Haque (freedom fighter), Head of accounts Professor Dr Md Shahadat Hossain Khan, IQAC director Professor Dr Bikash Chandra Sarkar, Proctor Professor Dr Md Khaled Hossain, Management department’s chairman Professor Dr Md Jahangir Kabir and Executive Committee members of the MUN along with its president, general secretary and others attended the programme along with the participants.
“Two hundred participants from home and abroad are participating in this conference representing the young generation, who are indeed the working force of this current world. This is indeed very satisfactory”- VC Dr Md Abul Kashem expressed his satisfaction regarding the conference.
Delegates from 6 nations are participating in this MUN conference, including Bangladesh.
HSTU-MUN started their journey back in 2017. A number of students are currently associated with the HSTU-MUN, including more than 30 foreign students.
