Dhaka – Dr Wazed Miah KC and Shantinagar Club advanced to the final of the Walton First Dhaka Mohanagari Football Tournament eliminating their respective rivals in the semifinals at the Kamalapur Stadium on Saturday.In the day’s first semifinal, Dr Wazed Miah KC beat Azampur Football Club, Uttara by 4-3 goals in tie-breaker after both the teams failed to break the deadlock in the stipulated period.
In the second semifinal, Shantinagar Club defeated BKSP by a solitary goal scored by Sadek Hossain in the 22nd minute.Later, Abul Kashem Milon of Dr Wazed Miah KC and Sadek Hossain of Shantinagar Club named as the best players of their respective matches.UNB news agency
