DHAKA – ‘Mujib Barsho’ Trust Bank 18th Senior/ Junior Taekwondo Competition will begin from December 27 at National Sports Council Gymnasium, said a Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) press release today.
Major General Mohammad Enayet Ullah, the current adjutant general of Bangladesh Army, is expected to inaugurate virtually the four-day meet as the chief guest.
Organised by BTF and sponsored by Trust Bank, the competition will be held to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Mohammad Zahid Ahsan Russell MP is expected to present in the closing ceremony of the competition as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
Youth and Sports Ministry’s Secretary Akhter Hossain will present as the special guest in the prize distribution ceremony.BSS
