Dhaka – Muktijoddha Sangsad KC beat Dhaka Mohammedan SC by 2-1 goals in the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the floodlit Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Sunday.After a goalless first half, defender Mohamed Habibur Nolak opened the account for the freedom fighters’ team in the 81st minute (1-0) while Ivorian striker Ballo Famoussa doubled the margin in the 90th minute (2-0). Striker Souleymane Diabate of Mali netted the consolation goal for Dhaka Mohammedan in the stoppage time (95th minute). With the win, Muktijoddha SKC advanced to the 7th slot from 8th securing 26 points from 23 matches while Dhaka Mohammedan remained at the 9th slot earning 24 points from 23 encounters.UNB
