Narsingdi – Narsingdi Sonali Otit Club beat touring Duars Greenland Veteran Club of Jalpaiguri (India) by 1-0 goal in a friendly football match at the Moslehuddin Bhuiyan Stadium here on Wednesday.
Taijul scored the match-winner for Nazmul Hasan Dickens-led Sonali Otit Club in the 60th minute amid huge cheers from full house crowd.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Syed Farhana Kownain inaugurated the match and later she also distributed the prizes after match. Additional Police Super Zakir and Additional Deputy Commissioner Imrul Kayes were also present on the occasion. UNB
