Dhaka -Bangladesh hockey team will leave home for India on Wednesday to play a six-match preparation tournament in Bengaluru ahead of the Asian Games Hockey.Including four officials, a 22-man team will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by Sri Lankan Airlines at around 2:30pm.
Bangladesh national side will play two matches against India Jr side and four matches against India ‘A’ from June 29 to July 6, all matches scheduled to be held at Netaji Subhash Southern Centre. Bangladesh team will return home on July 8.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) announced the team on Monday for the preparation tournament.However, the seven-team Asian Games Hockey will be held in August -September 2018 at Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Jakarta, Indonesia.
