NCL to resume from Saturday

Dhaka – The 21st edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), the country’s most prestigious first-class cricket, will resume from Saturday.

The fourth round of the event is set to take place at four different venues across the country.In tier-one of the fourth round matches, Rajshahi Division will host Dhaka Division at Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi while Rangpur Division will play against Khulna Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura.

In tier-two matches, Barishal Division will face Sylhet Division at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar while Chattogram Division will host Dhaka Metropolis at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Khulna are now at the top of the table in tier-one with 17.25 points with one win and two draws from three matches. Rajshahi Division are second with 13.11 points, Dhaka Division third with 10.2 points and Rangpur Division fourth with 6.72 points.

In tier-two, Chittagong Division are at the top of the point table securing 16.42 points  from one win and two draws, Barisal Division are second securing 14.62 points, Sylhet Division are third with 12.69 points and Dhaka Metropolis are fourth with 6.99 points.UNB
