Rajshahi – A total of 3 lakh and 5 thousand applications have been submitted for Rajshahi University admission test for the 1st year honours course of the session 2020-21. ICT centre director of the university Babul Islam on Friday said this. Babul Islam said 1 lakh 16 thousand and 217 applications have been submitted to A unit. Of them 57 thousand and 170 are from science background, 10 thousand and 275 from business studies background and 48 thousand and 802 from arts background.
A total of 68 thousand and 618 applications have been submitted to B unit out of which 30 thousand and 7 from science background, 20 thousand 193 from business studies background and 18 thousand and 418 from arts background.
1 lakh 2 thousand and 154 applications have been submitted to C unit. Of them 1 lakh 3 thousand and 693 are from science, 3 thousand and 196 from business studies and 13 thousand and 265 are from arts.
Primary results for the admission test based on HSC GPA will be revealed on March 22, Babul added.
Submission of applications for RU primary admission test began on March 07 and ended on March 18. Selected candidates will be able to apply for the final stage from March 23 to March 28 paying a fee of Taka 1100 each. – RU Correspondent
