Islamabad: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will send a security team to review situation in Bangladesh before sending team for Asia T-20 tournament there, said Pakistan Foreign Office on Thursday.Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said at the weekly news briefing in Islamabad that Pakistan is monitoring post-election turmoil in Bangladesh, and the decision to send cricket team to Dhaka would be taken if unrest ended.
Tasnim Aslam said Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had expressed his willingness to visit Pakistan, however, the date has not been confirmed by Indian authorities.
She said Pakistan and the United States have agreed to review their bilateral strategic dialogue process, for which Prime Minister’s Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and US Secretary of State John Kerry will co-chair a meeting. – SAMAA via Google
