Savar, Dhaka – The Creator’s love is attained thru service to the paralyzed. Joys lie in service, said Valery A Taylor, the founder and coordinator of ‘Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP)’.Taylor said this at a function at the Government and Politics Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Monday.
This pioneer in the treatment and rehabilitation of the paralyzed established CRP in Bangladesh. She said, ‘I decided to stay in Bangladesh to serve the paralyzed’.
‘CRP introduced graduation courses on physio-therapy. This move is helping increase the number of expert pysicians in specialized treatment’, she added.
Taylor also said, ‘Men can refrain from paralysis caused by accidents, if they are conscious’.
The function was presided over by the chairman of JU Gov’t and Politics Dept. Prof Dr. Shamsunnahar Khanam who also Valery A. Taylor at the program. – JU Correspondent
