People with coronavirus symptoms urged not to be in mosques

Dhaka, March 19 – The returnees and the persons having fever, cough and symptoms of coronavirus have been urged not to go to the mosques and public gatherings in view of the outbreak of the deadly disease in the country.Islamic Foundation in a press release made the call a day ahead of Jumma prayer for Friday.
The directives have been given to protect the human being including the Muslim devotees and keep them safe and alert, says the release.
The Islamic Foundation also advised the Muslim devotees not to organize religious gatherings for the time being.
Besides, the Islamic Foundation also requested people who have returned from abroad, their family members and those came to their touch not to go to the mosques or public gatherings until their quarantine period comes to an end.
The Islamic Foundation also urged the Imams and Khatibs to discuss the coronavirus with due importance and arrange special munajat seeking safety from the disease. – Staff Reporter
