Poppy and Toma Mirza got the National Film Award for the recognition of their acting skills. Both are hailed from greater Khulna. Poppy got the award for three times while Toma got it for single time. Poppy always loves her junior actresses like Toma.When they meet Poppy inspires Toma to work with her. Toma’s many days desire was to work with Shabnur, Moushumi, Poppy and Purnima in a common movie. Toma’s that desire has been fulfilled. She worked with Poppy in Arif directed movie Kathgorai Saratchandra. In this movie, Poppy and Toma acted in roles of Parvati and Achola. Shooting of the movie has already been done.
Poppy said, like Toma. Not only she was hailed from my region but also I like her behavior and get-up. Therefore, she is acting well. I always wish her success. Toma Mirza shared her feelings by this way, have a friendly relationship with Poppy Apu. She is very amicable person.
She is one of my favorite actresses in the country. I wanted to work with her. At last, I got the opportunity to share the screen with her. She always inspires me which I like most. I pray she always remain well.
Besides Poppy, Toma also took part in stage performance with Purnima. This year Poppy will soon start shooting of Amirul Islam Shova’s movie Save Life. She has already finished shooting of Sadeque Siddiqui’s movie Sahoshi Joddha.
