Dhaka- Prominent Bangladesh’s golfer Siddikur Rahman has made the cut as he grabbed the 2nd spot to stay in the race of €2 million Porsche European Open in Hamburg, Germany.Siddikur jumped 31 steps up with a fantastic rhythm of six-under-par 66 in the 2nd round before the weather-affected 2nd day’s play was suspended due to fading lights at Green Eagle Golf Courses on Friday.The two times Asian Tour winner, Siddikur aggregated eight-under-par 136, stayed just one shot behind the leader Ashley Chesters of England.Siddikur traded four birdies against a one bogey in each nine on the conclusion of the two sessions on the day.The golfer started the day’s 1st nine with a birdie and then birdied again in the 3rd hole before slipped with a bogey in the next. He was flawless in the remaining part of the 1st session with two birdies to put the 5th and 8th holes.In the 2nd nine, Siddikur birdied the 11th hole before a dismal bogey found him in the 13th, but ended the session with three birdies to put the 14th, 15th and 18th holes.In the 1st round on Thursday, the 32 year old Tiger Woods of Bengal posted two-under-par 70 to share the 33rd slot with 16 other golfers.UNB news agency
