An Eid-e-Miladunnabi programme organised by the expatriate Bangladesh community was held at the Diversity Plaza of Jackson Heights, New York on 26 April. The programme was also dedicated as ‘Campaign 2015’ to press their demand for government holiday marking the Eid-ul-Fitr, the greatest religious festival of the Muslims.The Mohammadi Centre which steered the programme also organised an inter-religious prayer for the eternal peace of those who were killed in the Nepal Quake on last Saturday. The prayer was led by Imam Qazi Qayyum, founder of the centre.
