Dhaka – Third round Super League matches of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League will be played on Friday.
In this round, defending champions Abahani Limited will take on Prime Bank Cricket Club at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mohammedan Sporting Club will face Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in Fatullah while the table-topper Legends of Rupganj will play Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club in BKSP.
In the first round, Abahani beat Prime Doleshwar while Legends of Rupganj and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club came up victorious respectively against Mohammedan and Prime Bank.
In the second round, Abahani continued on winning-streak against Mohammedan while Sheikh Jamal and Prime Doleshwar won against Legends of Rupganj and Prime Bank respectively.
While Mohammedan and Prime Bank lost both of their matches in the first two rounds, Abahani and Sheikh Jamal won both of theirs.
However, before heading into the third round, Rupganj are at number one to take one step ahead to the championship as they have acquired 22 points from 11 wins in 13 matches. On the other hand, Abahani are just behind them with 10 wins in as many matches.
