Dhaka-Muktijoddha Sangsad KC earned a much-needed victory in the Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football beating lowly Farashganj SC by 1-0 goal in the day’s 2nd match at the floodlit Bangabandhu National Stadium here Monday evening.
Abbas scored the goal for the winners in 53rd minute.Nazmul of Muktijoddah got the marching order in 94th minute of the match.With the 5th victory in 20th league matches, the freedom fighters’ team Muktijoddha improved their position to avoid the relegation securing 17 points while old Dhaka outfit Farashganj are under the relegation threat with their previous credit of 14 points from 20 encounters.UNB news agency
