Premier Hockey: Usha KC take solo lead beating Azad SC 6-1

Dhaka  – Usha Krira Chakra took a solo lead in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League with unbeaten record
outplaying Azad SC by 6-1 goals at Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here on Sunday.With the day’s victory, the hockey giant from old Dhaka, Usha KC, has secured 19 points from seven matches with six wins and one draw while lowly Azad SC remained at three points, playing six matches,UNB News Agency Reported.
In the day’s match, national forward Hasan Jubair Niloy struck three field goals, Pushkar Khisha Mimo scored two and Krishna Kumar netted one for the Usha KC, which dominate the first half by 4-1 goals.Tahmid netted the consolation goal for Azad SC in the first half.In the day’s other match, Dhaka Wanderers Club crushed bottom ranked Bangladesh Railway by 5-0 goals at the same venue.
Al Nahian Shuvo, Khalilur Rahman, Bishal, Rakibul Hasan and Jagjit Singh scored one goal each for the Wanderers Club, which dominated the first half by 2-0 goals.
