President of Burundi, SL Football Federations visit BFF office

Dhaka- Presidents of the Burundi and Sri Lankan football federations made a courtesy visit to Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) office in Motijheel Sunday on invitation from BFF.

President of  Burundi Football Federation Reverien Ndikuriyo and the president of Sri Lankan Fooball Federation Anura De Silva met with the President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Md Salahuddin at the BFF Bhaban here.

After their meeting, Kazi Md Salahuddin told the reporters that Burundi is interested to take part in the SAFF Competitions.

“The President of Burundi thanked us for inviting his team in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup. He also appreciated us for organizing the meet. He is also interested to take part in the SAFF Competitions,” said Kazi Md Salahuddin.

Reverien Ndikuriyo also said that they are one of the best teams of this tournament and they came here to clinch the title, BFF boss added.

After a courtesy visit at BFF house, both the presidents witnessed the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, where Bangladesh ran out winners comfortably to set up a clash with Burundi in the semifinals of the meet.
