Dhaka – The prize distribution ceremony of Inter-Department Football competition of Jagannath University (JnU) was held at the university premises on Tuesday.Geography and Environment Department clinched this year’s inter-department football title beating Economics Department.
Addressing the function as chief guest, University Treasurer Prof Selim Bhuiyan said, “Undoubtedly, such kind of social activities, including sports, debates, will take our university towards advancement and we should keep the momentum to prove ourselves not only at our university sphere but also at the inter-university level and national level.”
Convener of the university’s sports sub-committee Prof Dr Mad Ali Noor was present at the function as special guest while convener of football sub-committee Prof Md Jakir Hossain presided over the program.UNB
