Prof Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Representative of Ibn Sina Trust, has been re-elected Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited. Yousif Abdullah Al-Rajhi from KSA and Engineer Mustafa Anwar, Representative of the Public Institution for Social Security, Kuwait have also been re-elected Vice Chairmen of the Bank, according to a press .
The election was held at a meeting of Board of Directors of the Bank recently, said the press.
Besides, Executive Committee and Audit Committee have been formed with Engineer Mohammad Eskander Ali Khan, Representative of Al-Rajhi Co. for Industry & Trade and Prof NRM Borhan Uddin, PhD as Chairmen respectively.
The Executive Committee includes Mohammad Abdullah Al-Jalahma, Representative of Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation, and the Audit Committee includes Dr Areef Suleman Representative of Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
Local and foreign directors, including Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank were present at the meeting.
