Queen Mother of Bhutan visits BEXIMCO industrial park

Dhaka – Visiting Queen Mother of Bhutan, Tshering Pem Wangchuck visited BEXIMCO Group’s Industrial Park at Sarabo of Kashimpur in Gazipur on Thursday.
She was welcomed by Syed Naved Husain, Group Director and CEO of BEXIMCO.

The queen mother of Bhutan visited the Design Studio, Woven fabric manufacturing unit, Yarn manufacturing factory, Digital Printing, Garments factory, Washing Plant, Shinepukur Ceramics factory and YELLOW display center, according to a press release.
Syed Naved Husain explained that ‘BEXIMCO’ had attained the ‘brand status’ of one of the world’s leading vertical manufacturer of fashion apparel, as well as an international employer of choice attracting the best talent from all over the world.
He also informed her that every buyer found the scale, and advanced technology used in Beximco`s Design and Manufacturing facilities unique and unmatched in the world.
Tshering Pem Wangchuck took great interest in BEXIMCO’S vision and business model based on ` innovation and speed rather` than low cost labor.
She was impressed with the wide range of high quality fashion, apparel products and the beautiful campus which looked more like a high end `holiday resort` than an Industrial Park with 35,000 employees.
She was especially impressed by the beautiful designs and high quality of YELLOW products.
Tshering Pem Wangchuck, who came to Bangladesh on March 14, will leave Dhaka tomorrow (Friday).
During her visit here, she also visited several other places, including Bangabandhu Memorial Museum and one of BRAC’s regional offices. – News Desk
