Rail road restored after 4 hrs

Chittagong’s railway communication with Dhaka and Sylhet resumed on Friday afternoon four hours after ‘Mahanagar Probhati’ had derailed in Brahmanbaria.Brahmanbaria Railway Station Assistant Station Master Mainul Islam confirmed that lines were restored around 3:15pm.
According to the official, no one was injured in the derailment of the Dhaka-bound train near the outer signal of Kasba Railway Station around 11:30am.
A rescue train from Akhaura pulled off the derailed carriage as ‘Mahanagar Probhati’ headed for Dhaka around 2:00pm.
Lines were later repaired and rail communications were normalised around 3:15pm.
Railway authorities could not ascertain the cause of the derailment.
