Dhaka – The first-year honours admission test of Rajshahi University under 2016-17 academic session will begin Monday and continue till October 27.
A total of 178,949 students will vie for 4,722 seats under 56 departments and two institutes this year.Of the total seats, 554 will be reserved for indigenous, physically challenged students, son and daughter of freedom fighters and teachers and officials.
Calculators, mobile phone sets and any electronic devices are prohibited in the examination halls.
RU administration has brought about a change in the movement traffic in and around the campus during the examination.
All steps have been taken to ensure security of the campus. As part of this a Mobile Court will set up in front of the senate building to bring offenders to justice.
According to official sources, the registration process for the admission was started on September 18 that ended on October 02. Detail information will be available at www.ru.ac.bd.
