Rangpur at comfortable position on day 2 in NCL

Dhaka – Rajshahi Division not in a comfortable position as they still trailed by 118 runs after the second day’s play as they scored their second innings at 42 for 1 at stumps against Rangpur Division on the second day of Tier-2 four-day National Cricket League (NCL) held on Wednesday at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.Junaid Siddique with 21 and Myshukur Rahman with 16 at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.Sajedul Islam took one wicket conceding nine runs.Earlier, Rangpur Division resumed their first innings on the second day (Wednesday) at overnight score of 89 for 4 and finally all out for 351 in reply to a Rajshahi Division’s first innings total of 191.Mamun Hossain was the most successful bowler for Rajshahi as he claimed five wickets conceding 81 runs.
